4. Importing Suppliers

**How do I import my Suppliers into the Dusk FSM?**

Your Suppliers can be imported to the Dusk FSM from a spreadsheet, including any fields you have that are not available out of the box with the Dusk FSM.

To import your Suppliers into the Dusk FSM, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to Operations->Suppliers
2. Click on the Settings tab
3. Add any custom Attributes you require. These are fields above the standard functionality offered by the Dusk FSM. Save each of these as you add them.
4. Once you have created all your fields, click on the Download Template button and locate the file on your computer. If the file doesn't download, check if your web browser has any restrictions on file downloads. There may also be an icon in the web address bar of your browser indicating it has been blocked.
5. Using the prepopulated column headings, either enter your data manually or copy/paste from your own Suppliers list. Ensure the headings aren't updated and all fields are populated.
6. Save your file
7. Click on Browse and locate the file
8. Click on Import and look for the notification in the top right corner to confirm your Suppliers were successfully imported. If you see a message like the one shown here, double check all fields are populated with data, with no blanks.
