Connecting Xero to the Dusk FSM

**How do I connect the Dusk FSM to Xero?**

To connect the Dusk FSM to your Xero account, go to:

1. **System Settings -> General** and choose New Integration, then select Xero.
2. Click Connect
3. Authorise the Dusk FSM app to communicate with Xero and Click OK. If you receive an error message at this stage, you may require additional Xero permissions or for your Xero Administrator to perform the connection under their Dusk FSM login
4. Test the connection and a green Success button should show. If this doesn’t work, please check step 3 again.
**Important Note** - *The Xero API login token is only valid for 60 days. After this point, it will need to be reconnected by your Xero Administrator. This is for security purposes.*

What can the Dusk FSM do with Xero?

- Sync GL Codes from Xero - As Purchase Orders and Invoices are created in the Dusk FSM, choose the correct GL Code from the drop down list.
- Sync Purchase Orders - Choose to sync with Xero by clicking the blue "Send to Xero" button. Once clicked and based on connectivity, your Purchase Order will appear as a Draft Bill in Xero. This ensures the final step to send out the PO to your supplier is actioned by the Xero user. The Dusk FSM doesn't send Purchase Orders directly to your suppliers.
- Sync Invoices - Choose to sync with Xero by clicking the blue "Send to Xero" button. Once clicked and based on connectivity, your Invoice will appear as a Draft Invoice in Xero. This ensures the final step to send out the Invoice to your customer is actioned by the Xero user. The Dusk FSM doesn't send Invoices directly to your customers.

Disconnecting Xero

- Go to System **Settings -> General** and choose the Xero icon.
- Select Disconnect
