Frequently Asked Dusk FSM App Questions and Answers

**Q: Why am I seeing an error saying 'Please complete all the form fields' even though I've filled everything in?**
This usually means that some required fields (marked with an asterisk *) have been left blank. In the Form Builder, required fields can be toggled on or off by selecting the field and unticking 'Mandatory' in the left panel. Please double-check that all mandatory fields have values entered. If you're still seeing the warning, let us know and we'll assist further.

**Q: Why does the app crash when I try to open one specific job, but others open fine?**
The most common cause of this issue is a missing latitude and longitude in the job address. Dusk FSM requires both for proper map handling. Please check the address details and ensure they are complete. You can manually enter the address again or try searching it in a maps tool to ensure coordinates are generated.

**Q: Why aren't text entries showing in mobile forms?**
This can happen if the field has no name (label). Go to Form Builder, find the unnamed field and give it a name. If you prefer not to display the label in the app, tick the 'Hide Label' checkbox.

**Q: Why isn't the Summary showing in the job on the mobile app?**
The 'Summary' field is intended for internal office use only and does not appear in the Dusk FSM mobile app. To make information visible to field staff, use the 'Description' field. To enable the Description field for a Job Type, go to: Operations → Forms → Form Builder → Settings → Select the Job Type → Tick 'Show Description'.

**Q: How does a Field Technician reject a job in the Dusk FSM App?**

Field Technicians can reject a job in the **Dusk FSM Mobile App** using the **Flag and Reject Reason** feature. These options must first be configured in the web portal.

### 🛠️ Setup: How to Configure Reject and Follow-Up Options

1. Navigate to:
   **Work → Settings → Flag**

2. Create options that apply to your business like:

* **Maintenance Follow Up**
   * **Paper based documents**

3. These will appear in the app and when the job is rejected, they show as icons on the Job Summary screen like this:

* 🏳 Flag for general purpose
   * 💬 Speech bubble for reject-specific reasons

4. You can also configure **automated alerts** using the **Workflow Automation module**. This ensures Dispatchers receive an email or system notification immediately when a job is rejected.
