In the Dusk FSM App, managing materials directly from the job site is simple and efficient—perfect for field staff who need flexibility and accuracy in the field.

### 📍Where to Find Materials in the App

Navigate to the **Assignees** tab inside the **Job Details** screen. Scroll down to the **Materials** section to view what’s been assigned.

You can:

* 🔢 **Adjust material quantities** using the `+` and `–` buttons.
* ➕ **Add new materials** by tapping the blue **+Add** button.

This brings up a list of synced materials from the Dusk FSM web interface. You can select any of them and adjust the quantity (default is 1).

The Dusk FSM App includes built-in validations to keep your job materials in sync and avoid overspending or overbooking:

* 🟡 If a material was **assigned during job dispatch** and the quantity is changed, a warning will appear to indicate the difference from the assigned value.
* 🔴 If a **new material is added in the field** and the selected quantity exceeds the available inventory, another warning will display.

These checks ensure accuracy, especially for inventory, billing, and job costing. Upon job completion, the updated material quantities are automatically reflected in the Dusk FSM web platform for invoicing purposes.
