## 🔗 How to Connect Xero to Dusk FSM for Invoicing and Purchase Orders

The **Xero integration** allows Dusk FSM users to streamline financial processes by syncing invoices, purchase orders, and general ledger (GL) codes directly into Xero. This ensures accurate record-keeping and reduces manual double entry across your platforms.

## 🚀 Step-by-Step: Connecting Dusk FSM to Xero

1. Navigate to **System Settings → General**
2. Click **New Integration** and select **Xero**
3. Click **Connect**
4. Authorize the Dusk FSM app to connect with your Xero account

> ⚠️ If you receive an error, ensure you have the necessary Xero permissions or request your Xero Administrator to perform the connection using their Dusk FSM login.
5. Click **Test Connection** – a green **Success** button should confirm it worked

> 🔐 **Important:** Xero’s API login token expires every **60 days**. Your Xero Administrator must reconnect the integration periodically for continued use.

## 🔄 What Can You Do With the Xero Integration?

Once connected, Dusk FSM supports the following Xero integration capabilities:

### 📘 Sync GL Codes

* As you create **Invoices** and **Purchase Orders** in Dusk FSM, GL Codes synced from Xero appear in the dropdown list.
* This ensures every transaction is coded correctly and aligns with your chart of accounts.

### 📤 Send Purchase Orders to Xero

* Click **Send to Xero** on any PO in Dusk FSM
* The PO appears as a **Draft Bill** in Xero
* The final submission to your supplier must be done from Xero (Dusk FSM does **not** send POs directly)

### 📥 Send Invoices to Xero

* Click **Send to Xero** on any Invoice in Dusk FSM
* The Invoice appears as a **Draft Invoice** in Xero
* Final customer delivery must be completed from Xero (Dusk FSM does **not** send Invoices directly)

## 🔌 How to Disconnect Xero

To remove the integration:

1. Go to **System Settings → General**
2. Click the **Xero icon**
3. Select **Disconnect**
