## Connecting HubSpot to Dusk FSM

Follow a step-by-step process to authorize your HubSpot account and activate the integration within Dusk FSM.

1. Navigate to **System Settings → General**
2. Click **New Integration**, then select **HubSpot**
3. Press **Connect**
4. Authorize the integration and complete the Captcha (if shown)
5. Click **Test Connection** to confirm successful setup

Once connected, you can create jobs directly from a HubSpot Ticket or Deal using the embedded Dusk FSM App Card.

## Automatically Create Jobs From HubSpot Tickets

You can configure Dusk FSM to auto-create jobs when a HubSpot Ticket Status changes (e.g. to "New").

* Choose between Single Task or Multi Task
* Add a custom **Work Type** field to your Tickets
* Sync job completion status back to HubSpot (e.g. "Closed")

## Sync HubSpot Contacts and Products

The integration allows one-way or two-way syncing of Contacts and Products:

* Auto-sync Contacts to Customers in Dusk FSM
* Auto-sync Products to Materials
* Filter, search, and manually select which records to sync
* Control the direction of sync using “source of truth” toggles

## Exclude Contact Sync with HubSpot

Use this setting to prevent specific Contacts from continuing to sync between HubSpot and Dusk FSM, while keeping their existing data and history intact.

When a Contact is synced, any updates in HubSpot (such as a change in Company) will also update in Dusk FSM. This can impact historical Work records, as they may become associated with a new Company.

Excluding a Contact from sync ensures:

- Their existing Work history remains linked to the original Company
- No further updates are pushed from HubSpot to Dusk FSM
- The Contact remains available in Dusk FSM for operational use

**💡 When should you use this?**
Use this feature when a Contact changes employers in HubSpot, but you need to retain accurate historical Work records against the original Customer in Dusk FSM.

## Display HubSpot Data in Dusk FSM Forms

You can use the Form Builder to show HubSpot custom properties in Dusk FSM forms:

* Add **read-only** fields from Contacts, Deals, or Tickets
* Drag the **HubSpot Field** element into your form
* Choose the object and field to display

**Q: Can I control what syncs?**
Yes. Use filters to choose which Contacts and Products are imported or updated.

**Q: Can I push job completion status back to HubSpot?**
Yes. Completion status for Tickets and Deals can sync back automatically.

**Q: What’s the most common use case?**
Triggering job creation when a Deal reaches "Closed Won" or when a Ticket status becomes "New," plus syncing contact details and dispatching jobs.

**Q: How can I avoid syncing all contacts and companies from HubSpot into Dusk FSM?**
You can selectively sync only required contacts or companies from HubSpot by manually choosing them. Create a HubSpot view (filter/search) of the companies you want to sync and enable sync for just those entries. Avoid enabling global sync if your CRM has large volumes of data.

**Q: Can forms be linked to HubSpot fields or records?**
Yes, you can either embed HubSpot fields directly into a form as read-only values, or use synchronized data from HubSpot such as company, contact name, phone, and email. This allows tickets or jobs to be created with accurate customer context.
