## 📍 How to Add a Location in the Dusk FSM Platform

Adding and managing Locations in Dusk FSM helps ensure your teams and resources are aligned with the physical places where work occurs. This is especially useful for assigning jobs, coordinating crews, and planning logistics efficiently.

### 🚀 Steps to Add a Location

To get started, go to:

**Operations → Locations** (or click the **Box** icon in the sidebar if the menu is collapsed).

1. Click the **+Location** button in the top right corner.
2. Fill in the required fields below.
3. Click **Save** to complete the setup.

### 🧾 Fields Explained

| Field                           | Description                                                                                       |
| ------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Location ID** *(Mandatory)*   | A unique identifier for the location (e.g. LOC123).                                               |
| **Location Name** *(Mandatory)* | A friendly name for easy identification (e.g. Warehouse - Melbourne).                             |
| **Status** *(Mandatory)*        | Choose **Enabled** or **Disabled** based on whether this location is active.                      |
| **Map** *(Mandatory)*           | Enter the address manually or via latitude/longitude. Google Maps is integrated for smart lookup. |
| **Resource**                    | Assign one or more team members to this location.                                                 |
| **Crew**                        | Assign one or more crews responsible for work at this location.                                   |

Locations appear in alphabetical order but can be sorted by any column heading for quicker access.
