## 📂 How to View and Create Multi Task Work in Dusk FSM

## 📌 Overview

Multi Task Work in Dusk FSM (also referred to as Projects) is used to manage work that includes **multiple tasks**, timelines, files, approvals, and stakeholders.

This is ideal for complex work such as construction programs, installation projects, planned maintenance, or any job where the work is delivered across multiple steps.

Multi Task Work sits inside the **Work module**, alongside Single Task Work.

## 👀 How to View Multi Task Work

To view existing Multi Task Work:

1. Go to **Work** from the left sidebar menu
2. Use the top tabs to switch between **Single Task Work** and **Multi Task Work**
3. The list view will display all Multi Task Work items
4. Use the filters at the top to search by:

* Customer
   * Work name
   * Status

This makes it easy to locate active work, archived work, or work that needs review.

## ➕ How to Create Multi Task Work

To create a new Multi Task Work item:

1. Go to **Work** from the left-hand menu
2. Click **+ Work** in the top right
3. Select **Multi Task Work**
4. Enter a name for the work item
5. Click **Save**

Once created, you will be taken into the Multi Task Work workspace where you can assign a Customer, add tasks, upload files, and manage progress.

## ✅ Single Task Work vs Multi Task Work

In Dusk FSM:

* **Single Task Work** is best for individual field jobs such as inspections, audits, repairs, or service calls
* **Multi Task Work** is best for projects where tasks are grouped together under one parent work item

Multi Task Work can include tasks that are field-executed Single Task Work items.

If your work involves multiple steps, multiple teams, or longer timelines, Multi Task Work is the right tool.

## 🧱 The Multi Task Work Workspace

Multi Task Work includes tabs designed for managing complex work end-to-end.

Below is a high-level breakdown of what each tab is used for.

### 1. Task View

View all tasks in a list format, including owners, dates, and status.

### 2. Timeline View

Visualize tasks across time using a timeline view. Useful for sequencing, dependencies, and delivery planning.

### 3. Status View

See task progress across status categories to identify delays or risk.

### 4. RIACCR

Track Risks, Issues, Actions, and Change Requests.

### 5. Materials

Assign and track materials needed for each task or stage.

### 6. Sales

Link quotes or sales orders associated with the work.

### 7. Files

Upload drawings, contracts, photos, and supporting documents.

### 8. Lessons Learned

Capture insights, improvements, and delivery notes across the work lifecycle.

### 9. Finances

Track budgets, costs, and drawdowns by category or by task.

## 🔐 Permissions and Contractor Visibility

Multi Task Work visibility is controlled by:

* roles
* permissions
* whether users are assigned to the work item

If a contractor is not assigned, or does not have permission to view Multi Task Work, it will not appear in their interface.

This makes it possible to run internal-only work, or restrict access based on region, team, or role.
