### Access & permissions
#### **Q: Who can view or edit Reports?**
Access is role-based. If you cannot see a report, ask an admin to confirm your role and data visibility.

#### **Q: Why do totals differ for two users viewing the same report?**
Filters and role visibility can differ by user. Align the same saved report, date range, and filters.

### Data scope & freshness
#### **Q: Which timezone and financial year do Reports use?**
They follow your workspace settings. Confirm timezone and fiscal year in your admin settings.

#### **Q: How fresh is report data?**
Live application data is reflected as soon as it is saved, subject to any caching or background jobs for heavy queries.

### Building & filtering
#### **Q: Can I save filters and date ranges?**
Yes. Save a report to reuse date ranges, regions, teams, and status filters.

#### **Q: How do I group by week, month, technician, or region?**
Use **Group By**, then choose date parts or entity fields. Apply filters before grouping for faster results.

#### **Q: How do I count distinct jobs or customers?**
Use **Count Distinct** on the relevant ID field (Job ID, Customer ID) instead of a raw row count.

### Lifecycle & durations
#### **Q: Can we report on how long it takes for a job to go from Scheduled to Completed?**

Yes — the **Reports module** in Dusk FSM allows you to generate **job lifecycle insights**, including the time between key job stages such as **Scheduled**, **Dispatched**, and **Completed**. You can also **export this data** for deeper analysis.

##### ✅ Option 1: Use the Job Time Log

You can also track this at the job level:

1. Navigate to **Jobs → Job Summary**
2. Click on the relevant job
3. From the top-right corner, click **View Log** to see all recorded time stamps

##### ✅ Option 2: Use Daily Logs

The **Daily Logs** section also provides job time tracking:

1. Click the truck icon 🚚 to view the job entries

2. Press **View Logs** on the right

### Forms & custom fields
#### **Q: Can I report on Form responses?**
Yes. Form fields can be made reportable. If a field is missing, ensure it is exposed in the form schema and synced.

#### **Q: Can I join form answers to jobs or projects?**
Yes. Use relationships (Job → Forms, Project → Forms). For metrics, aggregate first to avoid duplicates.

### Exports & sharing
#### **Q: Which export formats are available?**
Export to spreadsheet or PDF for sharing and offline analysis.

#### **Q: Can I schedule a report to email my team?**
Pair saved reports with **Workflow Automation** to deliver links or exports on a cadence.

#### **Q: Can I share a read-only link?**
Yes, share a link to a saved report. Viewers only see data allowed by their permissions.

Dashboards may use different date presets, statuses, or filters. Align them, then compare.

#### **Q: I see duplicate rows in a report. How do I fix this?**
One-to-many joins (Job → Materials, Job → Forms) create multiple lines. Aggregate or use **Count Distinct**.

#### **Q: A job is missing from my results. What should I check?**
Permissions, status filters (Canceled, On Hold), date range, and archive flags.
