## 🗑️ How to Delete a Quote in Dusk FSM

Deleting a Quote in Dusk FSM is a simple process that includes safeguards to prevent accidental removal of customer-facing documents. To maintain sales history and audit integrity, only unsent Quotes can be deleted.

### 🔍 Accessing the Quote List

1. Navigate to **Sales → Quotes** from the left-hand menu.

2. The Quotes list will display all existing Quotes, including:

* Quote Number
   * Customer Name
   * Status
   * Available Actions

3. Locate the Quote by:

* Scrolling through the list, or
   * Using the **Search** field to filter by Quote Number, Customer Name, or Work Name.

### 🗑️ Deleting a Quote

1. Locate the Quote you wish to remove.
2. Click the **🗑️ Delete** icon on the far right of the Quote record.
3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

> ⚠️ Only Quotes in **Draft** or **Unsent** status can be deleted.

Once deleted, the Quote is permanently removed from the system.

### 🔒 Why Sent Quotes Cannot Be Deleted

Quotes that have already been sent to customers cannot be deleted.

This helps maintain:

* Sales history
* Audit trails
* Customer communication records

### ✏️ Revising a Sent Quote

If changes are required after a Quote has been sent:

* Create a new Quote with the revised information.
* Mark the previous Quote as cancelled or void according to your business process.
* Send the updated Quote to the customer.
