## How Do I View Edit and Approve Time Logs in Dusk FSM

Time logs can be viewed and managed from **Personnel > Time Sheets**. Depending on their permissions, users can edit or delete time entries, while designated Time Approvers can review, approve or reject submitted time.

### View Time Logs

To view recorded time:

1. Open **Personnel** from the left-hand menu.
2. Select **Time Sheets**.
3. Find the required time entry in the list.

If the left-hand menu is collapsed, select the **Personnel icon** showing three people and then open **Time Sheets**.

Use the available filters to narrow the results by details such as date, Staff member, Contractor or Work.

### Edit or Delete a Time Log

From the list of time entries:

* Select the **eye icon** to open and review the entry.
* Update the permitted details and save your changes.
* Select the **trash can icon** to delete the entry if your role has permission to do so.

The actions available to each user depend on their assigned role and permissions.

### Require Time Logs to Be Reviewed

Dusk FSM can route time logged by selected roles through an approval process.

To require approval:

1. Go to **Admin > Personnel > Roles**.
2. Open the role whose time entries should require approval.
3. Enable **Time Review Required**.
4. Save the role.

Once **Time Review Required** is enabled, time submitted by users with that role will appear under **Waiting for Review** for an authorised approver.

### Assign the Time Approver Role

New Dusk FSM accounts include a default role called **Time Approver**.

Assign this role to the Staff members responsible for checking submitted time. You can assign the role to more than one person if several people manage approvals.

Users with the appropriate Time Approver permissions can:

* view submitted time logs;
* review the recorded time and supporting information;
* approve accurate entries;
* reject entries that need to be corrected.

### Review and Approve Time Logs

When a time entry requires approval, its status changes to **Waiting for Review**.

To review it:

1. Open **Personnel > Time Sheets**.
2. Select the **Waiting for Review** tab.
3. Open the required time entry.
4. Review the recorded time, comments and associated Work or Task.
5. Select **Approve** if the information is correct.
6. Select **Reject** if the entry needs to be corrected.

Approving the entry confirms that it has been reviewed. Rejecting it prevents incorrect or incomplete time from progressing through the approval workflow.

### Time Log Actions and Permissions

#### Where can I view time logs in Dusk FSM?
