## ⏱️ How Do I View Edit and Approve Time Logs in the Dusk FSM?

Dusk FSM makes it easy for both staff and managers to **view, update, and approve time logs**—ensuring accurate time tracking and streamlined approvals across your workforce.

### 👁️ Viewing and Editing Time Logs

To view or edit time entries:

1. Go to **Personnel → Time Sheets** in the left-hand menu
   *(or click the **3-person icon** if the sidebar is collapsed)*

2. In the list of time logs:

* Click the **eye icon** to open and edit an entry
   * Click the **trash can icon** to delete it (if permitted)

### ✅ Time Approval Permissions

Approval workflows are set via **role-based permissions**:

1. Go to **Admin → Personnel → Roles**
2. Tick the checkbox labeled **Time Review Required** for roles that should route time to a manager for approval

> 🧠 Once enabled, all time entries logged by users with this role will appear in their manager’s “Waiting for Review” tab.

### 👤 Assigning the Time Approver Role

When Dusk FSM is first set up, a default role called **Time Approver** is included.

* This role can be assigned to one or more staff members
* Users with this role will be able to:

* View team members’ submitted time logs
  * Approve or reject entries

### 🧾 Reviewing & Approving Time

When time is submitted and ready for approval:

* The status will update to **Waiting for Review**
* Approvers can:

* Open each entry
  * Review time, comments, or project/task info
  * Choose to **Approve** or **Reject**
