## 🛠️ How Do I Get Started with the Work Planner Functionality in Dusk FSM?

The **Work Planner** in Dusk FSM enables long-range workforce forecasting and planning. The **Settings** tab is your starting point to define the structure of your data before importing and managing work activities across teams, timeframes, and skill sets.

## 🧩 Step 1: Open the Work Planner Settings Screen

Navigate to the **Work Planner** module and click the **Settings** tab to begin your setup. This is where you’ll configure the planner structure before uploading any data.

## ✏️ Step 2: Configure Mandatory and Optional Fields

* **Mandatory Fields** are pre-set and required for accurate forecasting.
* To rename a column, click the **pencil icon** next to its name.
* You can **reorder fields** by dragging those with the six-dot handle.
* Add **new custom columns** relevant to your business needs before importing data.

## 📥 Step 3: Download, Complete, and Import the Template

1. **Download** the spreadsheet template (with predefined column headers).
2. **Fill it out**—do **not** change any of the column headings.
3. Save the file.
4. Click **Import** to upload the data into the Dusk FSM Work Planner.
5. Once imported, press **Apply Changes** to lock in your setup.
6. Navigate to the **Data tab** to begin planning.

## 📊 Work Hours & Skills

* **Work hours P/D (per day)**: This field is essential for calculating total available labor capacity.
* **Skills**: These are pulled from the **Skills section** of the Dusk FSM.

## 💾 Always Click Apply Changes

After editing columns or importing data, always click **Apply Changes** to save your configurations before moving forward.
