## **📋 What Does the Kanban View Do in the Dusk FSM?**

### 🧭 Overview

The **Kanban View** in Dusk FSM provides a drag-and-drop board that visually organizes your work by status. Each column represents a stage of the job or project lifecycle—such as **Scheduled, In Progress, On Hold, or Completed**—making it easy to track and manage multiple activities at once.

This view is ideal for **operations managers, field coordinators, dispatchers, and team leads** who need a visual overview of job progress across multiple clients, teams, or service areas.

This screen is also where Statuses for field jobs can be personalized for your business. The colours for the statuses are fixed but the labels can be updated in here on the Kanban screen. ### 🗺️ How to Access the Kanban View

1. Navigate to **Work** (or your renamed equivalent: Jobs, Tickets, Projects, etc.)
2. Click on the **Kanban** tab or icon to open the board

Each card on the board represents an individual work item, color-coded by customer or priority.

### 🎨 Customize the Customer Color

You can customize the **color associated with each customer**, which reflects on their respective work cards in the Kanban view.

1. Go to **Operations → Customer**
2. Choose a color or paste a **hexadecimal color code**
3. Press **Save**

### ⚙️ Configure Status via Overall Work Stage

The statuses shown on your Kanban board are controlled by the **"Overall Work Stage"** settings.

To configure:

* Go to **Admin → System Settings → Work**
* Adjust the stages under **Overall Work Stage**

### 🔄 Move Work Between Stages

To change the status of a work item:

* **Click and drag** the item to a new column
* The new column automatically updates its status field
* No need to open the full work form—save time and clicks
